To create your family tree, go to our Home page, where the Family Tree Builder is located. From there, you can begin adding yourself and your relatives through an intuitive menu designed to make the process simple for everyone.

Our Family Tree Builder allows you to easily expand your tree and add details such as birth dates, countries of birth, interesting facts, images, and much more.

As you add family members, our tool automatically arranges family tree members’ connections and updates the layout, so you can focus on collecting accurate information rather than arranging anything manually.

To ensure that your family tree is saved, we advise you to create an account on our website. In this way, all your changes will always be saved, stored securely, and accessible at any time.

Additionally, in Family Tree Builder, you can easily export your family tree by clicking the “Export” button located in the top‑right menu of the builder page. You can choose from three available formats:

  • JPEG - Common image format that’s easy to share and view anywhere.

  • PNG - Image file with a transparent background.

  • SVG - Scalable vector file with no quality loss.

How to export your family tree as JPEG, PNG, or SVG

You can customize which details are displayed for all members in your family tree by opening the family tree display settings via the "Tree settings" icon located in the top-right menu on the main Family Tree Builder page. These settings allow you to adjust data formats and choose which information to show or hide across your entire tree.

Yes, you can edit the connections between family members. To do so, open the top menu on the main Family Tree Builder page and click the "Edit connections" button. This will open the connection editor, where you can freely adjust the lines connecting members to reflect your desired relationships.

Editing relationship connections in a family tree

If you have edited your connections and then your changes got lost, this might be due to further changes you made to the tree structure afterward. Adding a new member, deleting an existing one, or changing the tree settings would lead to changes in the tree structure layout. When the family tree layout changes, your edited connections will be reset. Therefore, we recommend editing the connections only at the very end of your tree-building process, when you are satisfied with the final result and want to make some last additions to polish everything.
